*DIHEPTYL SUCCINATE is used as a replacement to silicones in cosmetic products. It generally accompanies CAPRYLOYL GLYCERIN/SEBACIC ACID COPOLYMER in a formula. The two ingredients together, according to their ratio can mimic the super light skin sensation that Dimethicone (silicone) creates. The duo makes the formula less greasy and sticky making it feel nice on the skin. It is environmentally friendly, 100% natural, approved by Ecocert, durable and biodegradable.
